The Amazon rainforest is huge. When we say huge, we mean like over 2,700,000 sq miles. It’s not easy to cover all of it. We get that. But there are a lot of must do things in the Rainforest. Below are some of them.
What to do and where to do?
First is deciding which country you want to explore it in. It spreads over the South American countries – Peru, Colombia, Venezuela, Ecuador, Bolivia, Guyana, Suriname, and French Guiana.
With so much to do, we have handpicked some of the most exciting activities for you’ll. They are unique, fun, and definitely worth giving a shot – Piranha Fishing, Walk over the Canopy Bridges, swim with pink dolphins, and go kayaking in the Amazon river.
Prianha Fishing and Kayaking in the Amazon River
Piranha spotting and some kayaking
The piranha is a fish that is on bucket list sighting for any Amazonian. Seems difficult? Not really. Pick your spot, get the right bait, and you’re set. If you want to go back home with stories to tell, you must spend an afternoon trying to catch these tiny feisty creatures. They’re delicious and make a very yummy grill-dinner. Take the Amazon river cruise, and you’re sure to find these fish!
Kayaking through the river, is going to be super fun too! Imagine kayaking through huge trees on either side, with wildlife you have never seen before. Do we need to say more?
Swimming with Dolphins and Walking on Canopy Bridges
Exotic is here……
With so many exotic species living in the Amazon rainforest one of our favorites is the Amazon river dolphins, also known as the pink river dolphins. The best way to view these super cute looking dolphins is by going on the Amazon River Cruise. It’s relatively easy to spot them, so there’s no doubt. You just have to head there now!
Here’s our last pick. Walking on highly elevated canopy bridges with trees and wildlife surrounding you. Grab on to your binoculars and it’s going to be a treat. It’s also one of the best places for wildlife photographers and for those of you who want selfies with animals and birds! These bridges are available in most of the countries including Brazil, Peru, Ecuador, and Colombia.
There’s so much more left to explore in the Amazon Rainforest. Before the urban jungles engulf us, make some time for this! With so many unexplored places within the forest, awaken the wanderer in you to the fullest!
