Organic farming: 5 steps to cheap organic veggies.

At some point in our lives, we all have, experienced the sudden urge to dumb the junk and processed foods which damage our body to a large extent, while accepting the primary gift of nature – organic fruits and vegetables.

However, the difficulty of finding the right organic brand with sky raging high prices is endless, so instead of banging your head against the wall, we have a simpler solution.

Grow your own organic garden!

So, here are a few steps to establishing your own flora kingdom.

  1. Say no to synthetic fertilizers
For many people, the picture of organic farming basically includes growing daily food crops in the backyard of their houses with little critters buzzing around and forming exotic patterns, but all said and done, these tiny ones die if chemicals are being used as fertilizers disrupting the ego system which eventually degrade the crops. So instead of sabotaging your own enchanted grader, use natural fertilizers like humus, manure and slurry and save the earth!
  2. The windy battle
Since, the winds are usually not in favor of crops anyway, vegetables are the most prone to getting ruined by the storms. So, in order to prevent them from becoming a havoc a couple of things are needed to be kept in mind – the positioning of the garden should never be on a windy spot as there is chance you’ll loose out on a few crops. Another point is the plantation of shrubs as well as trees in order to protect the field from damage and finally, the garden should be in the south direction but if you are really stuck west or east is okay.
  3. Let the herbs sunbathe
Everyone knows how important sunlight is for plants and animals as well but getting enough of the sun is very unpredictable. In case of vegetable crops, these plants need at least minimum of 6-8 hours of sunlight, though they are capable of growing in lesser sunlight too but the growth is slower in comparison. Moreover, one should never plant crops on slopes as chances of receiving much light is less.
  1. The essence of soil
The soil type is one of the crucial things that plays a great deal in the livelihood of the plant, the type of soil used should be well kept in mind while growing a vegetable plant and checking the compost, 6-12% are much better for growing veggies, allowing the worms to go deep in the compost can be beneficial for the plants.
  1. Sow the seed
For one thing, the seeds are the game changer of gardening, no matter how much amount of work you put in, the bad ones will always betray you.

In order to save yourself a heck lot of trouble, the first and foremost step is to buy good quality organic seeds making sure they are free of chemicals and harmful coloring.

To sum up, it might seem hard to keep in mind so many things but a one step at a time will always achieve success!
